During the summer I was contacted by Mr. Anders Engwall who had done some archive research. He had found documents showing a "Mälarskuta" being lost in lake Mälaren in the year of 1699. It took less than an hour to find a wreck that seems to be of the right age.
Interesting detail (for me) is the clearly visible seagrass. I didn't know what the structure in the water colum was until the towfish was lifted up, together with this kind of seagrass.
During some search for details we found 2 other wrecks.
