CURRICULUM VITAE for
Christer Lundholm
The second career was in economic administration by punched card, now these days called Information Technology, 15 years.
Started as a operator of the machines using punched cards, high tech at that time, over customers support and sales person,
over manager of some bransch offices in different Swedish cities, Malmö and Göteborg, to managing director of the group of service bureaux
Svenska Elektroniska Data AB (SEDAB).
The third career is Aviation. Now 34 professional years.
Including private flying, I have 49 years in flying. The private flying resulted in several wins in Championships in precision
flying competitions and I was member of the Swedish national precision flying team. (See Flying Sports List of Qualifications).
I started the professional flying career in a position as instructor in single engine aircrafts PPL and towing banners in a Super Cub. I got my ATPL rating in the same school I was an
PPL instructor at Bromma airport, Stockholm. I became a First Officer at Skyways as soon as my rating was obtained.
I was working in the same organisation by several name- and owner changes. I became the companys first simulator instructor
when we got the type SAAB 340.
I was also simulator instructor during Skyways' 5 years in jet operation (Embraer 145). Skyways ended its jet operations 2003 and I became "merely" Commander on
Skyways remaining operated type, the Fokker 50. Skyways Express has gone trough a name change during 2009 to Avia Express.
After 2010, November 30, I retired from Skyways and I am now an instructor only, working summer time at Täby Seaplane Club.
2016, November, I started to build my own MFI 9 HB, from a kit bougt 2008 from Ivan Midwing. Better late than never. I expect to fly it 2020.
Family and living
I am living with my wife of Philippin origin and my two youngest boys in a house drawn by my own hand
in the Stockholm suburban Vallentuna. My older two boys in a previous marriage are grown up and have lifes of their own,
Richard as technician on the Fokker 50, Embraer 170/190 and Boeing 737, working in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Douglas, who had a Master of Science in Engineering Physics,
did continue with research. He was also able to achieve a doctors degree and associate Professor at the Stockholm Royal Technical University (Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, KTH).
My days are filled with work at the workshop building MFI 9 HB from scratch and as seaplane instructor at the Seaplane Club. At time off I ride my bikes, Harley Davidson, Yamaha or KTM or my McLuis Motor Home and spend quality time with my family.
Me and my Philippina wife also have a coconut farm in Aurora, the Philippines, as a project for future retirement in first place and also an interesting free time project presently. Farming not only coconuts, but also pineapple, bananas, cacao and several other tropical fruits.
My speciality
I have more than 34 years of experience from instructing in aircrafts and simulators, from single engine seaplanes to multi engine
jets. I find it very stimulating to experience my students discover new skills, my guiding star.
Starting new activity
Together with my youngest sons we have started an installation company for Solar Energy. We install solar panels and inverters at
homes and other buildings around Sweden. At this date we have installed 63kW solar power at 6 installations. We will be certified in dec 2018.

Experience - valuable in empathy regarding accidents.
July, 24, 2004 my family and I had an accident with a Cessna 185, seaplane. On short final,
short before intended landing on water, at 400 feet, the engine stopped and I had to make a forced landing.
I was not able to reach the water surface, but had to choose a farmers field close to my position.
I had experience from landing on grass with floats and expected a "normal" landing, but the aircraft overturned its nose
and we had minor bruises due to the forces involved.
The investigation by Swedish Accident Investigation Board was completed in March 2005 and the cause
for engine stopping was a small composit stick in the Relief Valve causing the valve to malfunction, the
fuelpressure to drop and engine to stop.
