Mask R-CNN anomaly detection

In the summer of 2023 I had an internship where I was tasked with developing a tool to detect anomalies in products created by a robotic arm. In this project I mainly utilized Mask-RCNN, which is a Object Detection and Segmentation model. This model allows for segmentation of an image, which creates pixel-wise boundaries of objects. These bondaries was then used to approximate the size of the product, and to search for anomalies. This was then coupled with a SQL database to easily transfer the information between multiple computers to easily handle and process the data.

3D-Modeling program

This project is a very simple 3D-rendering program where the user can (or will be able to) create simple 3D-models, and then style them with shaders. I started this project to get to know both Rust and openGL better. Why I am interested in graphics programming is because in some ways it feels like I can express my creativity through graphics programming, in ways I could not do through other means.  

ASCII-Game

This is more of a passion project idea, than something I have worked on for a long time. I have always liked stylised games that do not only try to look realistic. This has led me down a rabbit-hole of trying to make 3D games with "normal" models try to look like pixel games, which led me to the idea of a game where everything is made up of ASCII characthers. I belive that this will not only improve my graphics and logic programming, but I also want to try to make it a multiplayer game to get a better understanding about how internet communication is done.  

Sound producer

During 2023 I got really interested in sound, and specifically how it works in the digital world. This made me spend a lot of getting to know the topic and how it works. To test my knowledge I came up with the idea of basically making a synthesizer, however it is something I have not come around to finishing.
