Short english summary

On these web pages I am presenting photos from a trip on the extensive NZRail Narrow Gauge system, as it where in the winter -92/-93. My exposé is not complete, since the goal of the travels where a family visit, where I when I had the chance, tried to get som nice shots of equipment and scenery. Therefore my photos became more for the family album than documentation for a narrow gauge project (my normal interest is Maine 2-footers).

But I'v tried to combine my photos with some info from the Jan. -93 Trains magazine (nz), to give the viewer some more info. Unfortunatly it has not been possible to add english text to the pictures, retaining a good web design. But on every page I'v tried to write a suitable english heading to give a notion what the page is about.

I'v tried to show both present as well as past, from Opua in North to Queenstown (Kingston) in south, including spots like the Shanty Town gold digger park outside Greymouth on the South Island vest coast and Taumarunui in the middle of North Island. With time, more photos from Napier in the east and Dunedin in the south might appere. Since the pictures are a bit in a flux after a move some years ago I yet don't know when.
