Quick presentation
I'm born in Sweden, in Enköping, the 29'th of March, 1968. It's a small city somewhere in the middle of Sweden. I spent my first years there, but my father soon changed employment, from Bacho to Gränges Aluminium, which had a facility in Södertälje. So when I was just about two years old, we moved to Södertälje and I have lived here since then.
I went thru the ordinary Swedish nine year compulsory school without leaving any major traces. The school was Wasa-skolan, a school which not always have had the best of reputations, but I managed. After the first nine year, it was time to do a choice of continuation school. I decided to follow a 4-year technical track with a aim at electronics at Västergårdgymnasiet.
After these years, I served my military service at the F16. The F16 is a wing within the Swedish Airforce. I had a quite pleasant position in a communicationscentre, and enjoyed my eleven months. I even had time to apply for different jobs during my time at F16. In the end, I did receive an offer from Västergårdgymnasiet to start as a service-engineer. During the last months of my service, I did work at VG on my spare times, and could therefor afford to drive my car (petrol wasn't cheap at those days either) and could live quite well.
With only a month left of my military service, I married my wife, Christina. I was quite young then (1989) but the marriage still lasts, so I guess that I did the right thing... Five years later there was time for another big experience, our daugther was born. Beeing a parent is quite a change from living from one day to another. To enhance the turnover in my live, I did quit my current emplyement and headed for the next assignment.
I started to work for KTH/Södertälje, a division within KTH, The Royal Technical University. I spend a year and a half there, but soon decided to move on.
The next emplyeer was AstraZeneca or as it was at that time, Astra. I did get a position as PC-engineer at the tablet production facility. AZ has been quite an experience. I've seen the productionplant where I worked, grow to twice the size. I did startout with a client base of something like 300 Win3.11 clients. When I did leave, we had about 1200 WinNT 4.0 clients.
As for today, I'm working in a datacenter-group. We mainly serve the Swedish car-importer, Svenska Volkswagen AB, their resellers and the car-rental company, Europcar. SVW import cars from Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Porsche, Bentley and Lamborghini.
