I am not a church visitor, but everyone believes in something :-)

Here are some of my believes:

• Computers will be smarter than human mankind within this century. If you are a computer scientist I think you agree with me, otherwise read the books by Ray Kurzweil or Hans Moravec.
• Have fun at work! If you are trying to gather money so that you can to retire to play golf, you have chosen the wrong profession.
• Big companies don’t want to make life better for the inhabitants of the world. Luckily, as a side-effect, often it gets better.
• Two brains is at least 4 times better than 1, find a good partner to work with. Someone who you can bash in an argument, and still eat a nice lunch with afterwards.
