Genealogical site for the von Arnold family.
The ambition with the von Arnold Genealogy site is to maintain an easily accessed archive for the family genealogy information, but also to create a 'wiki' where active researchers of the family can exchange results and ideas.
We plan to publish some of the information in English, although most pages will be in the Swedish language.
Editing of pages are restricted to some members, but we will provide a template for emailing questions or reporting information for anyone.
Background
Most of the genealogical research regards distant members of the family about who few facts are known. For our branch our focus are on:
- Andreas
- Arnold or von Arnold. Emigrated to Russia in the beginning of 1700 from Nassau, Germany.
- Johann
- Arnold or von Arnold. Son of Andreas. Died 1766. Staff-doctor. May have married a maiden 'Jukskul'.
- Johann Friedrich
- von Arnold. Born 1764/5, in Moscow, Son of Johann. Capitain in Russian army.
- Jacob
- Born 1766 in Moscow. Son of Johann. Not known to have married.
- Peter
- Born 1768 in Moscow. Son of Johann. Not known to have married.
